Rob Hinchcliffe is a journalist, blogger and writer based in London.
Currently Rob is a Community Manager at Yahoo! UK, before that he edited their news site, one of the most popular news destinations in Europe. Previously, he founded and edited the successful 'capital-centric' blog Londonist.com.
Under Rob's editorship Londonist was nominated for two Bloggies; appeared in Newsweek magazine; featured on CNN numerous times; and was covered by a variety of newspapers including The Guardian, The Times, and the Evening Standard.
In October 2006 Londonist placed eighth in a list of the UK's 50 most influential bloggers.
As well as online ventures Rob also writes for a number of traditional media titles such as Blueprint and Grafik. He's also a regular contributor to the daily e-magazine Urban Junkies and the weekly email culture magazine Flavorpill.
Rob recently contributed a piece of short fiction to the second edition of the LA-based literary journal Sweet Fancy Moses and last year co-wrote a collection of London miscellany entitled The London Collection.
